Who We Are

 

BIF are a Resin Floor & Hygienic Wall Cladding specialist based in Retford, Nottinghamshire.

 

We've been a specialist contractor for 48 years, protecting buildings and people by installing performance floor, wall & ceiling finishes.

​

Our work is varied and interesting; one week we're refurbishing a small engineering workshop, the next we're working on a large aerospace project, but it's not all industrial work because we also do specialist work for the NHS, the Police and we've also completed many public sector projects, such as Schools, Libraries and Leisure areas, where the durability of our systems are trusted to provide years of reliable service.

With a full order book, there is a great opportunity to join us and start a career in performance surfacing, becoming part of an established company, working on challenging new projects.

What we're looking for

​

We not looking for casual workers, but we will be interested in speaking with experienced subcontractors who will work with us, or for individuals wanting secure employement. We're looking for people who enjoy getting involved and being part of a team, but most of all we're looking for people who share our commitment to be the best.

​

The work can be challenging, it can be physically demanding at times, but this is balanced by easier days where care and an eye for detail pays off.

​

Our Company values people. Where we could hire labour in, we choose to employ and develop people,  providing support & training, this is a career opportunity for anyone looking to develop a skill in a very different part of the Construction Industry.

We need to talk with you if;

  • you have a positive, hands-on approach to work

  • you're a team player, but  also willing to work independently

  • you're are based locally to Retford, Nottinghamshire

  • you hold a clean Drivers Licence (though this isn't essential)

  • you're OK with occasional long working days

  • you don't mind what can be a physical job

  • you also have an eye for detail

  • you're  OK  with getting your hands dirty

  • you enjoy a challenge, but expect some recognition for it

  • you'll get satisfaction for doing a job well

 

You may be a school leaver, or you may be someone looking for a new challenge. You may already be a skilled tradesperson who wants the security of employment.
