BIF - P Resin Bound

Resin Bound Surfacing is a natural aggregate, locked in with a resin binder and is an excellent external surface for areas where you'll find pedestrian and vehicular traffic. The decorative finish is a medium/heavy duty external finish, extending our capability to install internal epoxy resin flooring systems.

We only use Polyurethane resin to bind the aggregate in external surfacing projects. Whilst lower cost systems use epoxy binders, these will quickly discolour and degrade under the presence of strong UV light.

Tough & durable, the system uses a specially graded natural aggregates (recycled aggregate available) to provide high wear resistance.

The system is designed to allow fast drainage of surfaces water and is a low maintenance and very attractive external finish for domestic and commercial exteriors.

External Resin Paving

BIF completed this resin bound paving project in a very prestigious residential development, in the heart of York.

With cold winter temperatures, we planned the work to coincide with better forecasted weather and the Developer remained very supportive while we installed over 400m2 of resin bound stone to external courtyard areas.

Our team performed brilliantly and achieved a very high quality installation, particularly given the weather conditions they had to work with.

Resin Bound Paving installed across a new development at a Wildlife Park provides a highly durable, seamless, slip resistant surface for visitors.

BIF use only UV stable resins, which resist damage from UV light (which would ordinarily result in unsightly yellowing of the resin binder which coats the surface of each stone), giving a better looking surface for much longer than similar, but lower performance resin bound systems.
