There aren't many contractors capable of working within highly sensitive environments. Choosing the right contractor can be critical to an end user and BIF take exceptional care to ensure that work on site does not threaten the high standard of Health & Safety, or confidentiality required by major companies or institutions.

Importantly our work is planned closely with the client. This initial consultation process ensures that the client is aware of each process, when it will occur and what known effects it may have on site.
Our involvement at management level continues throughout the installation process and a senior manager maintains a permanent presence on site throughout.
Our own installation staff also maintain their presence throughout each project, ensuring that the number of site inductions are kept to a minimum and minimising the stress and problems often created when different teams arrive throughout a project.
By employing our own team of installers also allows us to accept unforeseen delay on a client site far more readily and we're able to meet the needs of the client far more readily than similar companies employing subcontractors. Equally our standards of appearance, knowledge of working safely and working strictly to the standards required by the site are far more manageable than working with a contractor employing subcontract labour.

We've listed other reasons why BIF are different than our competitors. Collectively we believe they represent how we have built our company and reputation and more importantly how we can provide our customers the best possible level of service.
Advanced manufacturing facilities need exceptional finishes to maintain safety and hygiene standards. BIF install hygienic, easy to clean and high specification floor and wall surfaces for this sector.

Dry Process Areas
Our epoxy quartz screeds provide a decorative heavy duty wearing surface. BIF have installed thousands of square metres of standard and antistatic quartz screeds. Our recent developments include a high specification quartz screed system in which very large installations can be completed far more quickly than when using traditional trowel applied systems. The resulting finish is smooth, consistent and entirely free of trowel marks and has proved to be a true alternative to terrazzo finishes at a fraction of the cost.
Walls and ceilings
Our hygienic wall cladding and wash down PVCu interlocking plank ceiling systems compliment our flooring systems and also work to improve hygiene levels within process areas.
Very few other companies are able to offer a total floors, walls & ceilings package.
Importantly, we offer this service with the promise that our own team of installers will complete each work element. Where other companies need to employ subcontractors, we use our own highly skilled staff which ensures that all work is completed to the same high standard.
Wet Process Areas
BIF can install floor, wall & ceiling finishes robust enough to withstand high level corrosive attack. In these aggressive environments thorough preparation and careful detailing are critical. Equally, we work to ensure that our work is completed safely and full assessments are provided ahead of our commencing on site and form part of project planning.
As part of our service, BIF will also construct bunds & sumps, modify floor gradients and install Stainless Steel drainage as part of the overall project. Once completed we will issue warranties to cover materials and workmanship.
Static Dissapative Systems
Where ESD is a consideration, BIF offer a unique epoxy quartz screed. This system replaces the traditional carbon based systems which we have found to be difficult to install and then achieve a high standard of finish.
Our new system provides
-
A greater choice of colour
-
Higher compressive strengths
-
A finished surface comparable to terrazzo
-
Faster to install, particularly on areas over 600sqm
-
Lower in cost
Our company recently completed a 2500sqm installation in a cosmetics aerosol filling plant for a major pharmaceuticals company. The client commented that it was the best floor he had seen and assured us of future phased work.
