Rolls Royce Visitor Centre

BIF have just completed work on a new Visitors Centre for Rolls Royce in Derby. The 300sqm project used a new Swiss flexible polyurethane screed which is soft and very smooth underfoot. The project was completed on time and within budget and was opened by Prime Minister David Cameron in March to commemorate the continued success of a world leading British manufacturer.

The new flooring material complemented the high specification of other interior finishes used and unlike vinyl flooring systems, was installed as completely seamless finish, with an inset blue stripe surrounding central seating areas. Health & Safety

BIF have invested in HAVI hand/arm vibration monitoring metres, giving our staff greater awareness and the ability to accurately monitor their exposure limits. This compliments our existing Health & Safety system and further demonstrates our commitment to the safety and welfare of both our staff and those who work alongside us on site.

Swiss Choco-lay

BIF continue to strengthen the bond with Swiss manufacturer Technifloor with a 1500 sqm resin quartz screed installation in a chocolate manufacturing plant in the west midlands. The floor was completed on time, within budget and the delighted client has already promised BIF further phases.

Healthy Sales Continue

Laing O'Rourke recently invited BIF to a NHS Workshop where high level specifiers and end users discussed and viewed a range new finishes suited to the Healthcare sector. BIF demonstrated 2 unique resin finishes that provide a realistic alternative to vinyl flooring.

Product Developments

BIF have developed a new cold weld system for use on Altro Whiterock installations. Designed to give a smooth joint transition, the system is the first real alternative to hot welding. BIF are conducting site trials and are working alongside Altro Walls before final approval is reached.

National Trust Contracts Confirmed

BIF are pleased to announce the first of many kitchen refurbishments on behalf of The National Trust. A decorative resin screed and Altro Whiterock wall finishes provides the ultimate in durability, safety and hygiene.
